Photograph caption dated July 16, 1959 reads, "Tiniest resuscitator built. Life-giving resuscitator, so small and so sensitive it can revive parakeet, is demonstrated above. Built by Stanton Scientific Company in Glendale, resuscitator, said to be world's smallest, will be used to help newborn babies breathe."
