Part 1: San Jose teen Richard Baker in intensive care following accident on Snell Road - silent footage of emergency services on the scene; City of Santa Clara mayor Gary Gilmore honors Lynn Rycolt and Eligia de Orizio. Part 2: San Jose selects Melody Mains as queen of Fiesta de las Rosas (silent) (includes silent footage of contestants in gowns, belly dancing); fifth annual San Jose City Hall frog jump contest (silent); unidentified man speaking to microphone about the Spartan Foundation subscription drive.
