Photograph of two children riding donkeys in the middle of Marengo Avenue in Pasadena, ca.1905. The children are near the center of the picture their donkeys are standing next to each other, facing the camera. The residential street is lined with trees, the majority of which are pepper trees. There are sidewalks on both sides of the street, and hidden amongst the trees, the bases of several utility poles are visible. Aside from the donkeys, the street is empty.
