Photograph caption dated January 20, 1955 reads, "Michael Marsman, supervisor of music for adult education, Los Angeles school system, is shown with a group he directs for Verdugo Hills Council of Parents and Teachers Associations. Designated as the Mothersingers Chorus, the group meets each Thursday morning at McGroarty Recreation Center, Tujunga."
