Photograph of an exterior view of Juan Crisostomo Vejar Stage Station on Ventura road, ca.1886. The station, built in 1820 by the family of Thomas Delano and Juan Crisostomo Vejar, is a two-story wooden building with a covered porch and balcony at left. There is a yard full of plants and trees and surrounded by a picket fence at left, and at right a split rail fence extends from the building. A tall brick chimney rises up from the side of the building at center. The Vejar Station was located at the present city of Agoura.
