Sign on the side of the mine says Y.A. M&M Co. Also have negative number: 27,262 (4x5 in.) Yellow-Aster group of mines founded by John Singleton, C.A. Burcham and F.M. Mooers in 1895 in area of Randsburg; stamp mills were built beginning in 1899.
