Shown is a photograph of Vice President Richard Nixon and his wife, Patricia. They flew into the Sacramento Municipal Airport on February 17, 1960, en route to the 1960 Winter Olympic Games in Squaw Valley, California. The pair are flanked by Sacramento City Council member Phil Mering, Sacramento Chamber of Commerce official Norman Quillinan, and longtime Sacramento Chamber of Commerce Secretary Manger Arthur S. Dudley.
