Ten views of G.W. Wattles' Japanese garden at 1824 N. Curson Avenue, Hollywood, with men and women in kimonos, two children.

Gurdon W. Wattles was born in Richford, N.Y. in 1855. Was financier in the East, coming to Los Angeles beginning in 1904, settling permanently in 1922. Owned estate in Hollywood, part of which was developed into Wattles Garden. Died in 1932.
