Description
Excelsior Motorcycle. Large silver Excelsior motorcycle with red accents. "Excelsior Auto "Cycle/Excelsior Supply Co., Chicago" written in gold cursive letters across gas tank. Serial number 12300. Single cylinder engine, vertical orientation. Chain and belt transmission: leather belt on left side, chain on right. Gear shift (?) on left side fo gas tank. Diamond shaped frame. Both tires cracked but firmly filled, possibly original to bike: only visible information is numbers 2683 on front tire. Canvas showing through both tires. Special features: Light on front of bike. Seat is leather with springs, made by Troxel Mfg. Co. Pedals on both sides, Meteor brand. Handlebars nearly flat and sharply angled.
