Description
A gold-capped dome of the California State Capitol building is the subject of the this 1957 postcard. Public access to the dome was closed in 1942 out of concerns for sabotage after the December 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. In the foreground is a walkway leading to the southwest corner of the structure.
