Description
Jane Withers is best known for being one of the most popular child film stars of the 1930s and early 1940s, as well as for her portrayal of "Josephine the Plumber" in a series of TV commercials for Comet cleanser in the 1960s and early 1970s.
Photograph caption dated December 12, 1960 reads, "Ken painted it on wall at their new Saugus ranch." Former childstar and motion picture actress Jane Withers prepares to build a home for her world famous Jane Wither's doll collection that will be open to visitors.
