Description
On the corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Shatto Place, crowds observe the living billboard for MGM's "Hollywood Revue of 1929" on June 18, 1929. MGM girls are sitting atop large letters, which spell out the film's title, to promote its release and premiere, to be held two days later at Grauman's Chinese Theatre; seated on the first "O" in "Hollywood" is actress Ann Dvorak.
