Description
Title supplied by cataloger.
Photograph caption dated March 15, 1980 reads, "Six men were injured yesterday, two seriously, when a scaffolding collapsed for the second time in two months on a construction site at the Glass Container Corp. in Vernon, authorities said. At about 1:45 p.m., six men were working at the 75-foot level of a 90-foot silo under construction at 3601 Sante [sic] Fe Ave. Apparently without warning, the wood and metal skeletal structure the men were climbing on came loose and crashed 35 feet down to the next level, carrying them with it."
