"Steinkapelle in der Landschaft Mamba, vom Westen gesehen" ("Stone chapel in the landscape Mamba, viewed from the west"). The stone chapel is very small and has three roof parts (grass roof). On the right a bell tower made of wood with a small bell high up. In front a road, in the background trees. Cf. photos no. 267 and 269. -- The picture was probably taken by Johannes Schanz (1876-1963). He worked as a missionary of the Leipzig Mission in Moshi and Mamba from 1901 to 1910.
