Description
St. Elisabeth Catholic Church and Elementary School, in Van Nuys, are located at 14655 Kittridge Street and 6635 Tobias Avenue, respectively.
Photograph caption dated October 23, 1954 reads "Styles from the 1920s will compete with those of the 1950s for the attentions of St. Elisabeth's Church Altar and Rosary Society members when the organization stages a fashion show Wednesday noon at San Fernando Valley Country Club. Mrs. Anthony Ciparone, center, models one of the 'roaring' outfits to be shown while Mrs. Robert Hall, left, and Mrs. George Brandy pose in modern modes."
