Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on February 6, 1978 states: "Boats are being docked and launched again at Brown's Ravine on Folsom Lake. It started about two weeks ago, after more than a year of inactivity during which drought had turned the ravine to mud. Launching began when the lake level reached 425 feet above sea level, thus providing about a seven-foot draft at the dock area. It is estimated the lake will top off at 466 feet by July 1."
