Kenneth Hopper writes Mr. J. Noguchi, the general manager of the Japan Union of Scientists and Engineers (JUSE), saying that it was kind of Noguchi to send him information on Sumitomo Electric's introduction of QC circle methods in the 1960s and reports that Hopper's article is building up nicely now. Hopper lists the areas JUSE took a lead in by introducing QC circle methods and adds that Professor Yoshio Kondo was kind enough to give him a copy of one of this articles from "Quality Progress." Hopper asks questions regarding General Electric's receipt of the Deming prize. The letter contains Hopper's signature.
