Looking northeast at woodland-chaparral type (potential timber site as indicated by relict trees and snags.) Species: Quercus wislizenii with Arctostaphylos viscida and Photinia arbutifolia; Ceanothus cuneatus and Rhamnus californica also occur. Foreground ponderosa pine in association with black, interior live, valley and blue oaks. Shrubs : same as on distant slope with the addition of Rhus diversiloba
