Description: Photograph shows Wiggsy Sivertsen receiving flowers from California Assemblyman John Vasconcellos.
Wiggsy Sivertsen co-founded BAYMEC and GALA, the Gay and Lesbian/Bisexual Student Alliance at SJSU, and helped organize the first indoor Gay Pride Day Celebration at SJSU in 1975. John Vasconcellos served in the California State Assembly and Senate from 1967-2004.
