Description
Young Elizabeth Talbot sits behind the wheel of her family's Sunset automobile, the only automobile mass-produced in San Jose. A bouquet of flowers lay in the back seat. The Victory Motor Company began producing the Sunset in San Jose after their original San Francisco factory was destroyed in the 1906 earthquake. The Sunset automobile factory at Martha and South First Streets manufactured cars until 1913.
