Description
Shown is German-made postcard, made between 1904 and 1909. It features an image by photo artists John D. Scott and Edward Van Altena who were known to produce song slides, images intended to accompany song lyrics for events during which an audience would view the slides via magic lantern and sing along with the lyrics. The images were usually romantic in nature and intended to pair with love songs.
