Photograph caption dated July 8, 1960 reads, "Workmen scurry to collapsed section of framework being put up for construction of Golden State Freeway bridge between Sunland and Lankershim boulevards, Sun Valley. Segment of 'false-work' framing toppled 'like dominoes' when one part gave way, workmen said. No one was injured."
