Description: Founded in 1984 by Fairfax High School science teacher and counselor Dr. Virginia Uribe, Project 10 mandated that every child deserved a school environment free from bullying and offered information and counseling on lesbian, gay and bisexual issues to all students. WAVES was working to bring Project 10 to Santa Monica High School.
