Roger Birdsall, who succeeds the Rev. Homer Price. Rev. Birdsall will preach his first sermon tomorrow. His topic at the 11 o'clock service will be 'Nothing Like Being Sure.' His evening topic at 7:30 o'clock will be 'Steadfast Saints.' A three year veteran of the last World War, he served with the Signal Corps in the European Theater and is a native of Illinois. He attended Huntington College and its seminary at Huntington, Ind., and had his first church at Boise, Ida. He and his wife, Mary Lou and their two children, Connie, 27 months old, and Douglas, 1 year, arrived last week to take over their new assignment."
