The Los Angeles Pet Cemetery (later renamed Los Angeles Pet Memorial Park), located in the city of Calabasas, was founded and dedicated on September 4, 1928 and is one of the oldest pet cemeteries on the West Coast. The cemetery is comprised of ten landscaped acres which provide a serene and peaceful resting place for over 40,000 animal companions. The park is located at 5068 N. Old Scandia Lane and is open for visitation every day of the year. Grave markers in the L.A. Pet Cemetery located in Calabasas. The marker in the foreground identifies Kabar, actor Rudolph Valentino's faithful dog.
