Taking shape on the southern half of the 7-1/2 acre Los Angeles Music Center site is the 3310-seat Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, the largest of the three theaters. Designed by Welton Becket and Associates, architects and engineers for the entire complex, the Pavilion has reached mid-point in construction as of April 29, 1963.
