Description
The ferocious-appearing planes of the famous Flying Tigers, who wrote war history in the skies of China and Burma, inspired the Los Angeles Railway Co. to similarly decorate a street car for help recruiting purposes. L-R, shown at the unveiling ceremonies: P. B. Harris, President of the railway; Air-WAC Lieutenant Mildred Lumlen; her husband, Lieutenant Robert Lumlen; Actress Martha O'Driscoll; and Police Deputy Chief Bernard Caldwell.
