Photograph caption dated October 10, 1958 reads, "Prince Ranch fruit dryer - In 1900 members of Prince family were photographed viewing first fruit dryer on Prince Ranch on 'Tejunga' (Tujunga) avenue in community of Lankershim now known as North Hollywood. Water was furnished by windmill, background, then gasoline engine, Varney's Water System and city of Los Angeles." See image 00156144 for additional photo in this series.
