Image of Union and Confederate armies engaged along railroad tracks in the Battle of the Weldon Railroad (Battle of Globe Tavern) near Petersburg, Virginia, in 1864 during the American Civil War; central image shows firing line with cannons, with cavalry and horse drawn carts behind the lines; vignettes at top left and right captioned "August 18th" and "August 19th" show the progression of the battle.
