Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated January 7, 1963 reads, "'The House That Fun Built,' a musical comedy scripted by Joseph X. Price, author of 'The Blabbermouths,' and Burton Moore, freelance TV writer, will be presented by a professional cast Friday and Saturday at Erwin Street School, 13400 Erwin St., Van Nuys. More than 1,700 people are expected to turn out for the contemporary comedy starring Bill Smith, new MGM actor who does a take-off on Jack La Lanne [sic]; comedian Doodles Weaver who does a take-off on Doodles Weaver, and the chorus gals, Doris Howard, Kay Gustaveson, Anne Leener, Mercedes Pensak and Barbara Braverman. Also starring in the play will be Les Tremayne, movie and television actor. TV director John Peyser will direct, and Jack Tygett, professional dancer, is choreographer."
