Photograph article dated May 26, 1950 partially reads, "Though she may not agree the Valley is the best spot in the world to live, Mrs. Agnes Girvan, a daughter of the Emerald Isle, today is probably inclined to agree its [sic] at least the second best. In fact, she contends, if it were not for the fact she is only a visitor here and a native of Ireland, she would surely fit under the title of 'Valleyite' - which is exactly why she appears in this space. During a four-month visit with her daughter, Mrs. Ralph Eichman, 7126 Alcove Ave., North Hollywood, Mrs. Girvan has but one brief description of the Valley: 'It's lovely.'"
