Photograph caption dated November 7, 1960 reads, "Vice President Richard Nixon doused by heavy rain, is greeted at Van Nuys Airport Saturday by 7,000 fans, who cheered as water ran down their backs. Nixon kept his remarks short 'so no good Republican voter will get pneumonia' before Tuesday."
