Description
Photograph caption dated January 1, 1971 reads, " Mary Jo Davis. Held in contempt of court." The newspaper erroneously listed her name as Mary. The correct name is Nancy Davis, who sketched Manson frequently during the Tate-LaBianca trial, was removed from the court on a contempt charge for disruption.
