Members of Mortar Board, a women's honorary society, at Pomona College. This photograph can also be found on page 97 of the 1930 Pomona College yearbook, "Metate" with this informtaion about the society: "Pomona women were granted a charter of the national honorary society, Mortar Board, in March, and the local chapter was inaugurated the latter part of that month. The organization sponsored a benefit bridge party at the Woman's club.
