At this time, Eddie Fisher and Taylor were having an affair. Negative public sentiment grew against Taylor and Fisher as a result of their affair, Fisher's public divorce from Debbie Reynolds, and Fisher's subsequent marriage to Taylor in 1959.; This home has since been demolished.
The home at 242 Copa de Oro Road in Bel Air that owner Linda Christian is renting to Elizabeth Taylor. Photograph dated September 13, 1958.
