Close-up photo of First Baptist Church, located at 555 W. 7th Street in San Pedro. Built in 1919 and designed in the Beaux Arts Classical style by architect Norman Marsh, this building features ornate Egyptian columns and fine stained glass windows. A banner and marquee can be seen between the middle columns; the banner reads "First Baptist Church. Service: Kid's service 9:30 AM, Sunday Worship 10:45 AM". This building was declared Los Angeles Historic Cultural Monument #505 on May 22, 1990.
