Annotation translation: "Some of the staff of the hospital in Kwala Kapuas. Clerks, laundrymen and supervisors help to prepared the food for the festival. They are preparing 'Sate' (pieces of meat on a skewer, strongly spiced and baked over an open fire)." Annotation: "Ein Teil des Personals i. Spital Kw. Kapuas. Schreiber, Wäscher & Aufseher helfen mit bei der Zubereitung des Festessens. Hier machen sie 'Sate' (Aufgespiesste Fleischstücke werden stark gewürzt & auf offenem Feuer gebraten)." Note translation: NB the German word-forms do not allow us to know which of the terms "clerk", "laundryman" and "supervisor" are plural and which are singluar. (PJ 11.2000).
