Photograph of a full view of a male peacock with tail spread to expose plumage, ca.1930. The body of the peacock is short, thin, and pale at center. The massive feathers cover the view. They are spread out thin with what appear to be tiny, circular disks decorating the surface. The plumage forms an arch around the peacock until touching the grassy field below.
