Photograph of exterior of the Crystal Silica Sand Company, October 1928. At center, a small rectangular building can be seen. Several vertical poles line the walls of the building, and a few beams lean against the front of the structure. Near the front side, a single entryway is visible. To the left of the building, a smaller rectangular structure is visible. To the right, a small wall of material can be seen. In the background to the right, a single utility pole sits in an open lot. In the extreme background, fields of dirt and sand can be seen. In the extreme foreground, grass and other forms of vegetation are visible. A small pole is seen emerging from the grass on the right. Back of photoprint reads: "Open embankment from which our production is taken: also, beginning of the storage structure September 25, 1927".
