"Der Wasserfall in der Lyra-Kloof." ("The waterfall in the Lyra-Kloof."). The picture shows rocks with a waterfall on the left. At the bottom of the picture a man, two women and two girls of European origin standing or sitting below the rocks in the grass. A big bush on the left, a tree on the right. Imprinted on the image with white color but written over it with black paint: "1711." The word "Kloof" is a term taken from Afrikaans and means ravine. -- The Photography seems to have a kink in the middle from the left to the right.
