Description
Dick Wimmer discusses his book, “The Schoolyard Game.” He begins by explaining that his book is a compilation of stories from basketball players. He talks about fathers who play against their sons and the competition between two players. He describes the psychology of professional sportsmen and the overwhelming desire to win. Wimmer talks about the transition that retired athletes make from player to announcer. He ends the interview by discussing his own story included in the book and the reasons why he moved out to Hollywood.
