Photograph caption dated December 16, 1963 reads, "Greg Buchanan, Birmingham High's 150-pound fullback, was a 'giant' in the Braves' 21-14 win over Los Angeles for the city championship - Buchanan blasts for key yardage in pitcure [sic] at right before being stopped by Ed McDaniel (75), while Braves' Rick Jonshon [sic] (71) comes up. In picture at left Buchanan moves in for tackle of Robert Fultz (24) of L.A."
