Description
This 1930 photo shows the western leg of racetrack at the California State Fair, a place of judgment where participants paraded their livestock. A team of horses in the center of the photograph is pulling a wagon labeled Meadow View Stock Farm. Located 6 miles south of Sacramento, the farm was owned by Harry Muddox, who bred draft horses, short-horn cattle and Berkshire hogs.
