Description
Wooden crates filled with cans of apricots travel down a gravity conveyer. Stamped on the crates: "2 doz. no. 2 [illegible] cans; Sun-Tint brand apricots, packed by Geo. E Hyde & Co., Campbell, California." This cannery remained in business until 1929.
According to the Bancroft collection, this is an image of "Gravity conveyers." Wooden crates on a conveyer belt. Stamped on crates: "2 doz. no. 2 (unintelligible) cans; Sun-Tint brand apricots, packed by Geo. E Hyde & Co., Campbell, California." Note: a collection of images of Geo. E. Hyde Co. cannery are available at the Bancroft Library at UC-Berkeley. Cannery remained in business until 1929.
