This circa 1915 postcard shows Sacramento's City Hall building at 901 I Street, as seen from Plaza Park. Done in a Classicizing Baroque-style, the structure was built between 1909 and 1910. Of the 200,000 dollars appropriated for the construction, 173,000 went to primary contractor Thompson-Starrett Company, 8,650 to architect R.A. Herold, with the remainder going to extras and furniture.
