A view of west 11th Street as seen from Main Street in the year 1890. The right side of the street is lined with houses, hidden behind large trees and a gentleman can be seen walking next to a wall or tall white wooden fence; on the left side of the photograph, a half-wall, half-fence, can be seen stretching the length of the street. 11th Street is a long earthen road, but the sidewalks appear paved. For a view of the same street 40 years into the future, see photo #00067469. Photo dated: 1890.
