Description: In 1947, the Fair Oaks Recreation and Park District, which formed in 1945, took over the Park Plaza and the Community Clubhouse. The clubhouse, in March 1947, was immediately put to use to host many different activities, such as the Fair Oakie Art Fair in 1971.
