Photograph of illuminated Christmas trees on Hollywood Boulevard, December, 1928. Christmas trees can be seen placed along the sidewalks on both sides of Hollywood Boulevard. A portion of a street car can be seen in the left foreground, and another street car can be seen in the center of the photograph. Also, at left, a truck can be seen crossing Hollywood Boulevard. Many automobiles can also be seen driving or parked along Hollywood Boulevard, and people can be seen walking on the sidewalks and crossing the street. Legible signs read: "Rober[tson] Compa[ny]", "[Re]al estate [i]nsurance mortgage loans stocks and bonds [...]Toberman Co.", "L.A. First Financial Bank", "Ever Ready Drugs. Lunch", and "Myer Siegel and Co.".
