Photograph caption dated October 26, 1986 reads, "Crash of a pickup truck puts man and his son in the hospital and parts of the San Fernando Valley in the dark. The truck was near Roscoe Boulevard at Winnetka Avenue about 9:55 a.m. yesterday when it hit the power pole and became tangled in the wires. Power was cut off for nearly an hour as firefighters rescued the victims. They were listed in serious condition."
