On the Nippon Yusen Kaisha line, a shipping line out of Long Beach. Written on the photograph itself is a note that reads, "father and Ishiro." Though it is difficult to make out the faces in this photograph, "father" might refer to Kumekichi Ishibashi. Page 80 of the Ishibashi family photo album. The collection documents the personal life and business records of the Ishibashi family; one of the pioneer Japanese American farming families on the Rancho Palos Verdes Peninsula in Los Angeles, California from about 1910 until 2012.
